I have a Vostro1700 laptop loaded with the Vista operating system. This last week, when I try to use the laptop, I logon, open up explorer or control panel, do a little work, and the screen goes totally black. I can barely tell that there is info on the screen, but it is so blacked out, I cannot read the info. I am then forced to power down and relog on. I cannot use the machine for anything. How to fix?

I am trying to uninstall internet explorer 8 as I am interested to install IE7 for testing a website that we developed. I see there is no remove button next to the IE8 in the control panel. I tried multiple ways to remove internet explorer 8 but failed everywhere. I even thought o go safe mode and do it but have no positive result as of now.

MY WORK COMPUTER WOULD NOT BOOT WITH UBUNTC SO THE PROGRAM ASKED ME IF I NEEDED HELP. NOW WHEN I PUT ON THE COMPUTER I HAVE A CHOICE OF USING WINDOWNS OR THE DISK. DOES THIS CHANGE ANYTHING ON MY WINDOWS DEST TOP. I NOTICED A PROBLEM OF MY E-MAIL RECOGNIZING ME SINCE I DID THIS IT SOMETIMES SAYS PASSWORK NOT RECOGNIZED EVEN AFTER I SIGNED ON AND AM USING MY REGULAR WINDOWS PROGRAMS.<br>

I Have microsoft office 2003 installed on my system and its meeting most of my requirements so i dont want to upgrade to Microsoft office 2007. But I received an Excel file of the Format .XLSX which is not opening with Excel 2003.
I am geting the msg box -
Not a recognizable file format.
If i click ok it opens up weird data which is of no use to me. Can someone suggest a way out.

I am using this embed type (TYPE="application/x-mplayer2") and i don’t know which property of this object will get me the full screen. I couldn’t figure it out to make the media player full screen. If you know then please help me.

I am tried pasting a paragraph copied from a text file to a XL sheet cell but it is breaking after the first paragraph and jumping to next cell which i don’t want to happen. Please let me know the trick to paste a text file content to a XL sheet cell without jumping to multiple cells.

I am trying to figure out why i am getting more organic traffic from MSN and Live but not from Google. Is there a way to figure out this, if I got the search market share then I should been getting at least 3 times of the traffic of Microsoft from Google but fact seems to be something else. I am even getting lesser traffic from Google, just 30% of total organic traffic is from Google.

I am working on an excel file where i need to transpose the matrix that is contained on the excel sheet. I want to swap the data between rows and columns, that is my row heading/data should be converted to column heading/data and columns into rows. Please help
